| This is the engine fully re-assembled after I cleaned all the grease and dirt off of the engine tins and fan housing and painted all of that with a teal engine paint. I replaced both heads with new ones (not rebuilt), had the cylinders honed, replaced the piston rings, pushrod tubes, oil pump, rear crank seal, and several gaskets and seals. Before I started it was very dirty, leaked oil from multiple places, had 4 leaky head gaskets (only 4 gaskets total originally), and leaky exhaust. Now it is clean, runs much quieter, has a little more power, and has only one very slight oil leak coming from a push rod tube seal, which is new. I figure there is a scratch in the case where the seal goes and the oil is leaking past that. Oh well. | ||||||||||||||||
